Basic Salary: £14,117.74 (pro-rated for 21 hours per week)
FTE Salary: £23,529.57
Hours: 21 hours per week
Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term
Location: Head Office - Nottingham

Your Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Education Coordinator to join our fostering team in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills in a supportive environment focused on ensuring our young people receive the education they deserve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and improve educational opportunities for looked-after children.
  • Work independently while maintaining communication with team members and Foster Parents.
  • Organize and analyze educational data to produce insightful reports.
  • Maintain and utilize the CHARMS database (training provided).
  • Deliver training packages to Foster Parents and staff.
  • Attend meetings, take minutes, and contribute to discussions.
  • Produce ad-hoc reports and assist with administrative tasks.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A passion for improving educational opportunities for looked-after children.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Experience in supporting looked-after children and understanding their challenges.
  • Experience working in educational or children's services settings.
  • The ability to collaborate with multi-agency teams.
  • Confidence in delivering training and presentations.
