With over 30 years of experience, we have always placed the child at the heart of our mission, providing them with the specialist support they need. Our Integrated Services Programme encompasses a wide range of professionals, including social workers, fostering advisors, teachers, and therapists, all working together to create a nurturing environment for children and foster parents alike.

Your Role

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting foster parents and ensuring high standards of care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload.
  • Conducting regular supervision sessions to monitor practice and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments and decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

We seek a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Social Work England-recognised qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in children and families social work.
  • A desire to work within a therapeutic model of childcare.
  • A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation in children’s services.
  • A full driving licence and unrestricted access to your own car.

Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, offering 28 hours per week over 4 days. You will be compensated with a salary of £29,600 per annum (equivalent to £37,000 FTE), along with a £3,000 car allowance.
