Location: Home-based, FCA South East

Salary: £35 per hour

What We Are Looking For

Are you a motivated and passionate therapist or a therapy-trained social worker? We want you to help us deliver high-quality therapy services that create a nurturing environment for looked-after children and young people.

Your Role

As an Associate Therapist, you will:

  • Provide consultation sessions for Foster Parents facing challenges.
  • Collaborate with our team to address issues related to placements.
  • Engage with external local authorities, social workers, and schools.
  • Build strong relationships with new Foster Parents through group sessions.
  • Facilitate workshops to enhance reflective therapeutic practice among staff.

What You Bring

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have experience in a fostering service or a similar environment.
  • Can demonstrate strong administration skills and adherence to regulatory policies.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must be qualified and accredited with one of the following professional bodies:

  • BACP - British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
  • BPS - British Psychological Society
  • HCPC - Health and Care Professions Council
  • UKCP - UK Council for Psychotherapy
  • PTUK - Play Therapy UK
