Specific Hours: 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM (12-hour shifts)

Salary: £34,660.95

Location: Greater London (Covering Area Camden homes in Camden, Haringey & Islington)

Important: To be considered for this role, candidates must have relevant experience and qualifications. You will need 2 to 3 years of experience and hold a Children’s Workforce Diploma or an equivalent qualification in the children sector.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and development of young people. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality care and achieving positive outcomes for young people.
• Acting as a key worker and overseeing daily practices to support continuous improvement.
• Leading and mentoring staff while organizing work patterns.
• Ensuring compliance with care plans, training needs, and safeguarding standards.
• Managing placement plans and responding to safeguarding concerns.
• Coordinating access to health, education, and therapeutic services.

Leadership and Home Management

In this role, you will also:

• Provide strong leadership and coaching to ensure high-quality care.
• Support the Manager/Senior team in upholding care standards and implementing policies.
• Monitor compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and Health & Safety.
• Work as part of the rota to maintain safe, consistent care.
• Contribute to quality assurance, including inspections and Regulation 44 visits.
• Assist with managing the home’s budget and general household upkeep.

• Week 1: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun (60 hours)
• Week 2: Wed, Thu (24 hours)
• Minimum average of 168 hours per month.
• 236 hours of annual leave, increasing by 12 hours per year for 3 years (up to 272 hours).
• Pension scheme (after qualifying period).
