Salary: £31,151.65 - £36,323.65 per annum (dependent upon experience)

Your Role

As a Senior / Supervising Social Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the fostering services across the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire areas. You will work closely with our dedicated team to ensure that every child in our care receives the best possible support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Foster Parents and their families to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people in foster care.
• Supervise and monitor the suitability and competence of Foster Parents, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
• Provide regular supervision to allocated Foster Parents in line with FCA's Operational Standards.
• Collaborate with the child's network to identify needs and provide necessary support.
• Ensure compliance with documentation for each child and Foster Parent.
• Attend meetings and provide reports for commissioning teams.
• Promote the participation of children and young people in agency development.
• Deliver training to Foster Parents.
• Participate in an out-of-hours support service on a rota basis.
• Conduct initial home visits and Form F assessments as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• A Social Work qualification and professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality reports.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Yorkshire area.
• Confidence in transporting children and young people in challenging situations.
• A full driving licence.
