Escalator Engineer (Nights)

Join Our Team as an Escalator Engineer!

Location: Greater London (including Gatwick & Stansted rail stations)
Hours: 19:00 – 7:00, 4 on 4 off (12-hour shifts with a 45-minute unpaid break)

Salary: Basic salary up to £75K (depending on skills and experience) + Overtime + Benefits and Paid Door to Door.

Your Role

As an Escalator Engineer, you will:

• Maintain and repair a variety of high-profile escalator systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation across your London patch.
• Service, maintain, and repair escalators and moving walkways, including KONE TM, RTV and RTK units, Schindler 9300 escalators, Anlev systems, and Otis 506 NCE equipment.
• Utilize your strong fault-finding skills across both mechanical and electrical systems in a fast-paced environment.

Your work will cover all of Greater London, with additional responsibilities at Gatwick and Stansted Airport stations. This role focuses on transport infrastructure, allowing you to work in high-profile, safety-critical environments without extensive regional travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance, repairs, and callouts on escalators and moving walkways from various manufacturers.
• Ensure high standards of service delivery, safety, and customer care.
• Perform effective risk assessments and maintain site log cards during every visit.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: Proven experience working on escalators and moving walkways.
• Driving License: A valid UK driving license is essential for this role.
