Role: Senior / Supervising Social Worker

Contract: Full Time

Basic Salary: Up to £43,626.47 per annum, depending on experience

Base Location: Remote - North West

Covering Area: Merseyside and other areas within the North West

Your Role

As a Senior / Supervising Social Worker, you will be a vital part of our friendly and dynamic team, primarily working with Foster Parent households in Merseyside and the North West. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Recruiting, training, assessing, and supporting Foster Parents
  • Ensuring high-quality placements for looked-after children

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed self-starter who can work independently while maintaining strong connections with team members and Foster Parents. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent assessment skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Good IT skills and the capability to produce high-quality reports

You must be a qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration. While recent experience in fostering and children’s services is desirable, we welcome applications from less experienced candidates as well. A solid understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to fostering and safeguarding is essential.
