Position Details

• Contract: Permanent, Full Time
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Location: Heysham
• Salary: Base salary of £28,915.33 per annum, with potential earnings up to £35,635.33 per annum with sleep-in shifts

Your Role

As a Residential Home Team Leader, you will:

• Shape a safe, nurturing, and positive home environment for up to four children aged 8-18 with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Lead by example, supporting the day-to-day running of the service and maintaining Good and Outstanding Ofsted standards.
• Build trusting relationships with children, helping them engage in activities that support their development and wellbeing.
• Record and share key information clearly with children, families, and professionals.
• Contribute to team meetings, fostering open communication and a culture of continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in children’s residential care or a similar setting, with confidence in supporting children with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• A caring, resilient, and child-centered approach, with the ability to build positive relationships and set clear, consistent boundaries.
• A Level 3 Diploma in Working with Children and Young People, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
• A full UK driving licence and flexibility to work as part of a residential rota, including sleep-in shifts.
