Your New Role

Ever wondered what it’s like to work behind the scenes of blockbuster productions? As a Rigging Yard Operative, you’ll be at the heart of the action, supporting the Rigging Department in one of the most iconic studios in the world. This is a unique opportunity to gain specialist training and practical knowledge in the film industry, where creativity meets craftsmanship and every day brings something new.

Your Role Accountabilities

• Prepare scaffolding and rigging equipment for delivery to productions.
• Count and log returns.
• Maintain the rigging yard to organized standards.
• Complete return and delivery notes.
• Obtain signatures for deliveries and returns as required.
• Help maintain departmental records of rigging equipment.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with clientele.
• Drive where required (if an appropriate license is held).
• Consistently seek to improve processes within all operations departments and across the company.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience with manual handling of scaffold equipment is desirable.
• Previous experience in a scaffold environment is a plus.
• Experience working in a yard is advantageous.
• A full clean driving license is desirable.

Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden (WBSL) is a world-class film and TV studio, boasting one of the largest facilities in the UK. Our purpose-built site features 20 sound stages, production offices, workshops, an indoor water tank, and an extensive backlot.

WBSL includes the on-site production rentals business, Warner Bros. Set Lighting & Rigging, providing state-of-the-art lighting equipment, scaffolding, and production supplies for shoots worldwide. Additionally, Warner Bros. De Lane Lea in London offers picture and sound post-production services, with a dedicated Dailies department on-site at WBSL.

Adjacent to the studio, Warner Bros. Leavesden Park offers modern and flexible office space for productions, along with The WonderWorks, a bespoke childcare facility for those working on-site. With amenities like an on-site gym, café, and wellbeing room, WBSL is the perfect home for productions and has become the studio of choice for filmmakers worldwide.

Working Conditions

This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days will be carried out at the workplace. Subject to applicable laws, WBD reserves the right to change this working agreement as necessary for business needs, with reasonable notice.
