Your Role as Room Leader

As a Room Leader, you will:

• Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources for children.
• Support the holistic development of children, focusing on their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.
• Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
• Implement an effective key person approach to help children form secure attachments and identify training needs for staff.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor at all times.
• Understand and meet the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you will need:

• Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
• Over 1 year of experience working in Early Years - Essential
• Over 6 months of experience in a senior position - Desirable
• Fluency in written and spoken English - Essential
