About the Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in managing commercial resources to maximize our planned gross margin. You’ll be working from site or office for 3+ days a week, collaborating with our talented team to ensure project success.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Manage commercial resources to maximize planned gross margin and support budgeted profitability.
- Tender, evaluate, and appoint subcontractors, and place orders for materials and plant.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate variations to contracts with customers and suppliers.
- Measure and value work to support invoicing of customers and payment to suppliers.
- Produce monthly VCRs and End Life Forecasts, and manage cashflows.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
- Have diverse and clear communication skills, with experience working in multidisciplinary teams, clients, and supply chains.
- Hold relevant qualifications (Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying is desirable) and have experience in a similar role.
- Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Are flexible and can work both as part of a team and independently.
- Are proficient in a range of IT packages, including Microsoft Office and bespoke software.
Working Conditions
You'll be working 40 hours a week, from 08:30 to 17:00. Please note that we are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.
