Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic Kier Places - Building Solutions team in the vibrant city of London. This is your chance to be part of exciting refurbishment and re-cladding projects valued between £5m - £15m!

Your Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be at the heart of managing the commercial resources of our construction projects. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team focused on delivering high-quality results for our strategic clients, making a positive impact on communities every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial resources and maximize planned gross margin through effective contract placement and control.
  • Tender, evaluate, and appoint subcontractors while placing orders for materials and plant.
  • Identify, negotiate, and agree on project variations with customers and suppliers.
  • Measure, value, and agree on work progress to support invoicing and payment processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and the supply chain.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You hold a Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying (desirable) and have relevant experience in a similar role.
  • You possess strong communication skills and can effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • You are highly organized, able to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • You are confident using IT packages, including Microsoft Office and bespoke systems.
  • You are a team player, willing to share knowledge and support others while taking initiative when needed.

Working Conditions

This position is full-time, requiring 40 hours a week from 08:30 to 17:00. Please note that we are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.
