As a Primary Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in enriching the learning experiences of pupils with a diverse range of special educational and learning needs. Your support will empower them to gain independence and fully engage in both the curriculum and school life.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, tailored to meet the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
• Support the class team in creating engaging learning opportunities and fostering positive behaviors.
• Monitor and report on pupils' progress, collaborating with other staff to ensure their needs are met.
• Supervise pupils during non-classroom times, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, encouraging interaction and promoting positive learning outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• A strong educational background at degree level.
• Previous successful teaching experience.
• Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting.
• Proficiency in effective behavior management techniques.
• A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.
