Escalator Engineer (Nights)
Join Our Team as an Escalator Engineer!
Location: Greater London (including Gatwick & Stansted rail stations)
Hours: 19:00 – 7:00, 4 on 4 off (12-hour shifts with a 45-minute unpaid break)
Salary: Up to £85,000 (including OTE) based on skills and experience, with paid door-to-door travel.

You’ll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a range of high-profile escalator systems, ensuring safe and reliable operations throughout your London patch.
Your Role
As an Escalator Engineer, you will:
- Service, maintain, and repair a variety of escalators and moving walkways across major rail and underground sites.
- Work on specific equipment such as KONE TM, RTV and RTK units, Schindler 9300 escalators, Anlev systems, and Otis 506 NCE equipment.
- Utilize your strong fault-finding skills across both mechanical and electrical systems in a fast-paced environment.
Your patch will cover all of Greater London, including additional work at Gatwick and Stansted Airport stations. This role focuses on transport infrastructure, allowing you to work in high-profile, safety-critical environments without extensive regional travel.

Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance, repairs, and callouts on escalators and moving walkways from various manufacturers.
- Ensure high standards of service delivery, safety, and customer care.
- Perform effective risk assessments and maintain site log cards during every visit.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven experience working on escalators and moving walkways.
- Driving License: A valid UK driving license is essential.
