Salary: Up to £60,000 (including OTE), based on your skills and experience.
Working Hours
Enjoy a great work-life balance with our structured hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
- Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish!)
Your Role
We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Lift Service Engineer to cover Newcastle and its surrounding areas. You’ll be the go-to expert for servicing lifts, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely. Plus, you’ll have the support of a local team whenever you need it!
Your Patch
- Covering Newcastle and nearby areas
- Structured route—no random national travel!
- A mix of commercial, residential, and public sites
- Mostly staying within your allocated area
Key Responsibilities
- Perform servicing, repairs, and routine maintenance
- Respond to breakdowns and callouts
- Diagnose faults and get lifts back up and running
- Ensure sites are safe and compliant
- Complete site logs and basic paperwork
Qualifications
Lift Engineer Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience as a lift engineer (service/repair)
- Full UK driving licence
