Position: Part-Time Administrator

Salary: £14,565.47 (actual pro-rated salary) / £20,391.65 (FTE)

Hours: 25 hours per week

Working Pattern: 8:30 am - 1:30 pm, Term Time Only

Your Role and Responsibilities:

As a Part-Time Administrator, you will play a vital role in our school community. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils and visitors
  • Implementing initiatives to enhance the quality of life and wellbeing for both pupils and staff

Key Tasks and Activities:

In this dynamic role, you will:

  • Communicate effectively with ISP staff, professionals, parents, and carers
  • Welcome visitors, maintenance staff, and contractors to the school
  • Manage school correspondence, emails, and phone calls
  • Organize and attend meetings, taking minutes as needed
  • Handle delegated budgets and manage petty cash for the Whitstable site
  • Maintain school documents using SIMS & BehaviourWatch
  • Support the school’s mission with additional tasks as directed by the Headteacher

  • Experience in developing systems and processes
  • Proficiency in SIMS
  • Ability to manage budgets and monitor expenditures

  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and working under pressure
  • A proactive approach to personal development and learning

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into a full-time role as our pupil numbers increase. The successful candidate will undergo an enhanced DBS check, with costs covered by ISP School.
