Salary: £34,660.95

Location: Greater London (Covering Area Camden homes in Camden, Haringey & Islington)

Important: To be considered for this role, candidates must have relevant experience and qualifications. You should have 2 to 3 years of experience and hold a Children's Workforce Diploma or an equivalent qualification in the children sector.

Your Role in Our Mission:

As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and achieving positive outcomes for young people. Your responsibilities will include:

Main Purpose of the Role:

You will act as a key worker, overseeing daily practices and supporting continuous improvement across the home. Your tasks will involve:

• Leading and mentoring staff to ensure exceptional care.
• Organizing work patterns and ensuring compliance with care plans and safeguarding standards.
• Recording and reviewing key work, plans, and risk assessments.
• Managing placement plans and responding to safeguarding concerns.
• Coordinating access to health, education, and therapeutic services.

Leadership and Home Management:

• Provide strong leadership and coaching to ensure high-quality care.
• Support the management team in upholding care standards and implementing policies.
• Monitor compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Health & Safety standards.
• Work as part of the rota to maintain safe, consistent care.
• Contribute to quality assurance, including inspections and Regulation 44 visits.
• Assist with managing the home's budget and general upkeep.
