Salary: Up to £56,000 (including OTE) based on skills and experience.

Working Hours:

Enjoy a balanced work-life with our schedule:

  • Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
  • Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish!)

We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Stevenage and its surrounding areas. You’ll be responsible for your own patch, ensuring lifts are serviced, faults are diagnosed, and everything runs smoothly and safely, with local team support whenever you need it.

Your Patch:

  • Covering Stevenage and nearby areas
  • Structured route (no random national travel!)
  • A mix of commercial, residential, and public sites
  • Mostly staying within your allocated area

Lift Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Performing servicing, repairs, and routine maintenance
  • Responding to breakdowns and callouts
  • Diagnosing faults and ensuring lifts are operational
  • Maintaining site safety and compliance
  • Completing site logs and necessary paperwork

Qualifications:

Lift Engineer Requirements:

  • An NVQ level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Lift Engineer
  • A valid UK driving licence
