Join Our Team as a Project Manager!

Are you ready to take your project management skills to the next level? Sysco is on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic Enterprise Services team (HR, Finance, and Legal) on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this pivotal role, you will help drive technology initiatives that align with our business objectives and strategic priorities across Europe.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, where you’ll be required to attend our office in Ashford, Kent or Hemel Hempstead 3 times per week. Flexibility with travel and commuting for project and team meetings is essential.

Your Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Oversee the end-to-end management and delivery of complex technology projects.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Lead projects through the full lifecycle—from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation and transition into business-as-usual operations.
  • Utilize established PMO governance standards and a mix of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, including senior and executive leadership, to define project scope and align solutions with business goals.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder engagement, manage expectations, and drive consensus throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute effective communication plans to keep all parties informed about project progress, risks, and key decisions.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong understanding of business processes and change management.
  • Experience in translating operational requirements into effective technology solutions.
  • Proven project management and delivery experience in fast-paced IT or business transformation environments.
  • Experience working with multiple 3rd party system integrators and external suppliers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
