Salary: £29,500.00

Hours: 40 hours per week

Qualification: Level 3 Childcare Qualification is essential

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor at all times.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS throughout the nursery.
  • Assist in managing medication administration and ensure care plans are thorough and up to date.
  • Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources appropriate to each child's age and stage of development.
  • Promote respect and credibility through effective communication skills, impartiality, and consistency.
  • Inspire the staff team with creative ideas and new challenges to achieve outstanding practice.
  • Maintain accurate records and accounts relating to children and staff on the EyMan system and on file.
  • Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification
  • Essential: Leadership experience
  • Essential: Over 1 year of experience working in Early Years
  • Essential: Sound knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements
  • Desirable: Over 1 year of experience in a management position
  • Desirable: Level 5 qualification in Childcare and/or Management and Leadership
  • Desirable: Experience of successfully passing an Ofsted inspection to good or outstanding
