Are you ready to take your project management skills to the next level? Sysco is on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic Enterprise Services team (HR, Finance, and Legal) on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this pivotal role, you will help drive technology initiatives that align with our business objectives and strategic priorities across Europe.

We believe in flexibility! This position offers a hybrid working contract, requiring you to be in the office in Ashford, Kent or Hemel Hempstead three times a week. So, if you’re comfortable with travel and commuting for project and team meetings, we want to hear from you!

Your Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Oversee the end-to-end management and delivery of complex technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Lead projects through the full lifecycle—from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation and transition into business-as-usual operations.
  • Utilize established PMO governance standards and a blend of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders at all levels, including senior and executive leadership, to define project scope and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder engagement, manage expectations, and drive consensus throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute effective communication plans to keep all parties informed about project progress, risks, and key decisions.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong understanding of business processes and change management, with the ability to translate operational requirements into effective technology solutions.
  • Experience in managing risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, resources, and timelines while adhering to governance standards and change control procedures.
  • Proven project management and delivery experience in fast-paced IT or business transformation environments.
  • Experience working with multiple third-party system integrators and external suppliers to ensure successful collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
