Salary: Up to £45,162 per Annum plus £5,000 TLR for Director of Sport responsibility

Your Opportunity
We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director of Sport to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for an ambitious and inspirational leader ready to make a significant impact on the future of sport and physical education at our school.
What You'll Do
As the Director of Sport, you will:
- Lead and develop the PE, Games, and Sport provision across the school.
- Inspire and manage a high-performing PE department, fostering excellence in teaching and learning.
- Oversee the PE curriculum across all key stages, including GCSE PE.
- Monitor pupil progress and departmental performance to drive continuous improvement.
- Support and develop PE staff through coaching and professional development.
- Expand our co-curricular sports programme, including fixtures, competitions, tours, and events.
- Create pathways that encourage participation, talent development, and high achievement.
- Build strong partnerships with local clubs, schools, and sporting organizations.
- Teach PE and Sport across various ages and abilities, maintaining high standards of achievement and behavior.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through events, parental engagement, and leadership activities.
Who We're Looking For
We seek a candidate who is:
- Possessing a good honours degree or equivalent qualification.
- Qualified with Teacher Status (QTS).
- Holds a PGCE or recognized teaching qualification.
- An inspirational and visionary leader.
- A passionate advocate for sport, physical education, and pupil wellbeing.
- Proven in leading, motivating, and developing teams.
- Strong in organizational and strategic planning skills.
- Committed to delivering exceptional opportunities and outcomes for all pupils.
- Ambitious for the future development of sport within the school.
