Your New Role
Join us at De Lane Lea, where we shape some of the most exciting feature films and high-end television productions. We’re on the lookout for an exceptional Online Editor to join our award-winning team in Soho. Here, creativity, technology, and storytelling converge to deliver world-class content.
As an Online Editor, you’ll play a crucial role in the final stage of the post-production process. Your technical expertise, creative problem-solving skills, and keen eye for detail will ensure that every frame meets the highest standards before delivery.
Your Role Accountabilities
- Perform non-linear finishing/online editing for feature films and episodic television, including basic visual effects compositing and beauty fixes.
- Contribute to the development of digital workflows by staying ahead of emerging technologies and trends.
- Communicate project details effectively to all members of the post-production team, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Conduct titling/versioning spotting sessions.
- Incorporate design and graphic elements as needed.
- Troubleshoot technical anomalies.
- Ensure the correct assembly of video and audio elements.
- Maintain best practices for content security and client confidentiality.
Qualifications & Experiences
- Solid experience in a similar role within a large post-production company, delivering high-quality content for film and television.
- An extensive list of post-production credits as an Online/Finishing Editor.
- Expert knowledge of Flame Suite and Baselight.
- Proficient in Adobe Suite, Mocha, Sapphire, Boris, Fusion, Nuke, and other VFX platforms.
- Experience with file-based workflows and a strong understanding of digital capture cameras, files, codecs, and workflows.
- Flexibility to accommodate diverse deliverable content, including UHD, HDR, P3, PQ, and other industry trends.
- Computer literate with experience using various software packages.
- Familiarity with Conditions of Service, Contract of Employment, and Health and Safety regulations.
- Understanding of Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden values, policies, and Health & Safety guidelines.
Working Conditions
This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days will be carried out at the workplace. Please note that WBD reserves the right to change this working agreement as necessary for business needs, with reasonable notice.
