Are you ready to take your project management skills to the next level? Sysco is on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic Enterprise Services team (HR, Finance, and Legal) on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this pivotal role, you will help drive technology initiatives that align with our business objectives and strategic priorities across Europe.
This position offers a hybrid working model, requiring you to be in the office in Ashford, Kent or Hemel Hempstead three times a week. Flexibility with travel and commuting for project and team meetings is essential.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver complex technology projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Lead projects through the entire lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation and transition into business-as-usual operations.
- Utilize established PMO governance standards and a blend of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders at all levels, including senior and executive leadership, to define project scope and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Maintain strong stakeholder engagement, manage expectations, and drive consensus throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and execute effective communication plans to keep all parties informed about project progress, risks, and key decisions.
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A strong understanding of business processes and change management, with the ability to translate operational needs into effective technology solutions.
- Proven experience in managing risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, resources, and timelines while adhering to governance standards and change control procedures.
- Experience in fast-paced IT or business transformation environments, working with multiple third-party system integrators and external suppliers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
