Location: Slyne, Lancaster
Salary: £50,000 per annum (with potential to earn up to £55,000 through bonuses)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Specific Hours: 40 hours per week

At Bay View Childcare, part of the Polaris Community, we are seeking a child-focused Registered Manager for our established children's home in Slyne, Lancaster. Our home provides care for four children aged 8-18 who face social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

About the Role

As the Registered Manager, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality, safe, and nurturing care for children. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing day-to-day operations and leading staff practice.
  • Maintaining strong safeguarding arrangements and driving continuous improvement.
  • Providing confident leadership that is child-centered and outcomes-focused.
  • Supporting and developing your team through supervision and training.

Requirements for the Role

  • A Leadership and Management qualification, or willingness to work towards one, along with NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children.
  • Strong childcare and safeguarding knowledge, including relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Experience managing staff teams with excellent communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for children's homes and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children.
