Your Role

As a SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the National Curriculum while addressing the complex ASC & SEMH needs of our pupils.
  • Support the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
  • Report on pupils' progress and concerns, collaborating with other staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
  • Supervise pupils during non-classroom time, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils to drive interaction and achieve positive learning outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A suitable qualification at degree level
  • Previous successful teaching experience
  • Experience working with pupils with SEND in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques
  • A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, during term time only. You will enjoy a competitive salary ranging from £28,000 to £39,520, depending on your experience.
