Your Role

As a Primary Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in the lives of our pupils, many of whom have special educational and learning needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, tailored to meet the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
• Supporting the class team to facilitate engaging learning opportunities and promote positive behaviors.
• Monitoring and reporting on pupils' progress, collaborating with staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
• Supervising pupils during non-classroom times, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
• Building positive relationships with your pupils, fostering interaction and encouraging positive learning outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• A strong educational background, ideally to degree level.
• Previous successful teaching experience.
• Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting.
• Effective behavior management techniques.
• A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.
