About Us

ISP School is an independent specialist provision dedicated to serving children and young people in Kent and Medway. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality education through a holistic and tailored approach, ensuring that every pupil receives the support they need to thrive.

Your Role

As a Part-Time Administrator, you will play a crucial role in promoting the safeguarding and welfare of our pupils and visitors. Your responsibilities will include:

• Communicating effectively with ISP staff, professionals, parents, and carers.
• Managing school correspondence, emails, and phone calls.
• Hosting visitors and managing the Whitstable site’s petty cash and budgets.
• Arranging and attending meetings, taking minutes as required.
• Maintaining school documents using SIMS & BehaviourWatch.
• Supporting the school's mission through various tasks as directed by the Headteacher.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and a systematic approach to workload management.
• Experience in developing systems and processes.
• A solid understanding of SIMS and the ability to manage budgets.
• The ability to work constructively as part of a team and relate well to children and adults.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work under pressure.

Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, offering 25 hours per week during term time only, from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. As our school grows, there is potential for this role to develop into a full-time position.
