Position Overview

Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Salary: £28,000 - £39,520
Contract Term: Permanent
Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm

What You'll Do

As a key member of our teaching team, your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Planning, preparing, and presenting engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of your students
• Implementing our positive behaviour policy to help children become responsible citizens
• Motivating students to access learning and develop a passion for education

What We're Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Successful teaching experience, particularly with vulnerable children
• Experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN), focusing on nurture for children with SEMH and ASC needs
• A solid understanding of the national curriculum, especially in Science and/or Maths
• Excellent behaviour management skills and a reflective approach to teaching
• A good grasp of therapeutic educational approaches
• The ability to adapt lessons to meet individual children's needs
• A proven track record of delivering dynamic and engaging lessons

As part of our commitment to safeguarding, the successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by ISP School Battle.
