Position Overview

Job Title: Teacher
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Salary: £28,000 - £39,520
Contract Term: Permanent
Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm
Location: Battle, East Sussex

What You'll Do

As a key member of our teaching team, you will:

• Teach at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities.
• Plan, prepare, and present lessons that inspire a love of learning.
• Utilize our positive behaviour policy to help students become responsible citizens.
• Motivate students to access learning and thrive in their educational journey.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Successful teaching experience, particularly with vulnerable children.
• Experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN), focusing on nurturing children with SEMH and ASC needs.
• A strong understanding of the national curriculum, especially in Science and/or Maths.
• Excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
• A reflective approach to your practice and a good understanding of therapeutic educational approaches.
• A proven ability to deliver dynamic and engaging lessons.
