Your Role

As a SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the diverse needs of pupils with ASC & SEMH.
  • Supporting the class team to facilitate engaging learning opportunities and promote positive behaviors.
  • Monitoring and reporting on pupils' progress, collaborating with staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
  • Supervising pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils to drive interaction and positive learning outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a suitable degree-level qualification.
  • Previous successful teaching experience, particularly with SEND pupils.
  • Experience in behavior management and effective teaching techniques.
  • A commitment to your professional development and a willingness to learn.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, term-time only position, requiring 37.5 hours per week. You will receive a competitive salary ranging from £28,000 to £39,520, depending on your experience.
