About the Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in managing commercial resources to maximize our planned gross margin. You’ll be working from the site or office for 3+ days a week, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects for our key strategic clients.
Your Responsibilities
In this exciting role, you will:
- Manage commercial resources to maximize planned gross margin and support budgeted profitability.
- Tender, evaluate, and appoint subcontractors, placing orders for materials and plant.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate variations to contracts with customers and suppliers.
- Measure and value work to support invoicing of customers and payment to suppliers.
- Produce monthly VCRs and End Life Forecasts, managing cash flows effectively.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
- You possess diverse and clear communication skills, with experience working alongside multidisciplinary teams, clients, and supply chains.
- You hold relevant qualifications (a Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying is desirable) and have experience in a similar role.
- You have strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- You are flexible, able to work as part of a team, and can use your initiative.
- You are proficient in a range of IT packages, including Microsoft Office and bespoke software.
Working Conditions
This full-time position offers a standard work schedule of 40 hours a week, from 08:30 to 17:00. Please note that we are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.
