Specific Hours: 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM (12-hour shifts)

Salary: £34,660.95

Location: Greater London (Covering Area Camden homes in Camden, Haringey & Islington)

Important: To be considered for this role, candidates must have relevant experience and qualifications. You should possess 2 to 3 years of experience and hold a Children's Workforce Diploma or an equivalent qualification in the children sector.

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, family-style residential care for young people aged 11-18.

Your Responsibilities:

As a Senior Support Worker, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality care and foster positive outcomes for young people.
  • Act as a key worker, overseeing daily practices and supporting continuous improvement.
  • Lead and mentor staff, ensuring care plans and safeguarding standards are met.
  • Manage placement plans and coordinate access to health, education, and therapeutic services.
  • Maintain compliance through recording and reviewing key work, plans, and risk assessments.

Leadership and Home Management:

In this role, you will:

  • Provide strong leadership and coaching to ensure high-quality care.
  • Support the management team in upholding care standards and implementing policies.
  • Monitor compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Health & Safety standards.
  • Work as part of the rota to support the home's 24/7 operation.
  • Contribute to quality assurance, including inspections and Regulation 44 visits.
  • Assist with managing the home's budget and general household upkeep.

  • 236 hours of annual leave, increasing by 12 hours each year for 3 years (up to 272 hours).
  • Pension scheme after the qualifying period.
