Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Residential Support Worker, you will:

  • Assist young people with their daily routines
  • Build trusting relationships and be a reliable adult figure
  • Encourage the development of confidence, life skills, and independence
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment every day

Experience with children or young people is a plus, but we welcome those new to this rewarding field. We’re committed to providing all the training and support you need!

Working Pattern

Your shifts will be on a rotating schedule:

  • Each shift lasts 24 hours, with pay for sleep-in hours
  • Typically, you will work two to three shifts in a row
  • Expect a mix of weekdays and weekends
  • Opportunities for overtime are available if desired

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should:

  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Health and Social Care, or be willing to pursue one
  • Be friendly and approachable, with strong communication skills
  • Be prepared to undergo an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by us)
