We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our supportive and nurturing team, working together to achieve the best outcomes for our pupils and making a real difference in their lives.

Your Role

As our new SEN Class Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a small bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a Teaching Assistant. Your mission will be to plan, prepare, and present lessons that cater to the diverse needs of your students.

In this role, you will:

  • Motivate pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative presentations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure a high standard of education.
  • Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to promote engagement and learning.
  • Create and maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment for all pupils.
  • Adhere to all school policies and procedures in line with our values.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
  • Successful experience in SEN teaching.
  • A solid understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to the success of every pupil.

As part of our commitment to safeguarding, the successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by Polaris Community.
