Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 38 hours per week
Compensation
- Unqualified: £27,866.34 basic salary, with potential earnings of up to £33,447.67 including sleep-in shifts
- Qualified: £29,181.57 basic salary, with potential earnings of up to £34,762.90 including sleep-in shifts

Purpose of the Role
As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with challenging behavior. This position requires flexibility, resilience, honesty, and strong organizational skills. Your commitment to delivering high-quality care will help each young person achieve positive outcomes.
This is a permanent role with fantastic career prospects and comprehensive training within a growing organization. You will work an average of 38 hours per week on a two-days-on / four-days-off shift pattern, including two sleep-ins. Enjoy generous allowances for bank holidays and overtime, along with a performance-related bonus!
Essential Skills
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Ability to work independently while maintaining clear, organized records
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive approach to teamwork
- Capability to complete daily records in accordance with statutory and policy standards
- Empathetic, patient, and supportive nature
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to engage, motivate, and encourage young people
Desirable Skills
- Experience working with young people
- A Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People or willingness to work towards one (fully funded by the employer)
