Your New Role

Join us as a Projectionist and play a vital role behind the scenes at our world-class screening facilities in Soho Square. You’ll be responsible for:

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Preparing, ingesting, and managing content to ensure it’s perfectly formatted and ready for playback.
  • Conducting pre-screening checks on picture and sound to guarantee top-notch quality.
  • Configuring and operating our digital cinema servers and projection systems.
  • Performing quality control checks to identify and report any issues.
  • Assisting with image and sound calibration to maintain DCI compliance.
  • Collaborating with post-production teams and clients to ensure smooth screenings.
  • Meeting clients before screenings to provide a warm welcome.
  • Being part of the Fire Wardens team to ensure safety on site.

Qualifications & Experiences

  • Strong knowledge of cinema projection audio and video standards, including Dolby Atmos and various presentation formats.
  • Experience with Digital Cinema Packages (DCPs) and key management.
  • Familiarity with cinema projection systems, automation equipment, and audio processing hardware.
  • Understanding of video image fundamentals, including codecs and dynamic range.
  • Solid grasp of professional cinema audio systems and multichannel formats.
  • Ability to troubleshoot picture and sound issues effectively.
  • Competence in performing basic technical checks and measurements.
  • Willingness to work within a shift pattern, including evenings and weekends.

Working Conditions

This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours will be carried out at our location. Please note that WBD reserves the right to adjust this working agreement as necessary for business needs.
