Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a passionate Quantity Surveyor to become a key player in our Lune Gorge project team. In this exciting role, you’ll help us achieve commercial excellence and make a real impact!

Location

This is a site-based role located in Tebay, Cumbria, with the flexibility of some remote working options available.

Hours

We offer a Permanent Full-time position with a commitment of 45 hours per week. We understand the importance of work-life balance, so if you need flexibility in your hours, just let us know!

Salary

  • £40,000 - £45,000 per year
  • £5,000 annual car allowance
  • Plus additional benefits!

Your Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in:

  • Managing commercial resources to maximize planned gross margin through effective contract control.
  • Producing and submitting valuations, claims, and contract performance data.
  • Monitoring and forecasting financial information for your work packages.
  • Assessing and mitigating commercial and contractual risks.
  • Maximizing cash flow through control, measurement, and valuation of work.

What We’re Looking For

This role could be a perfect fit for you if you:

  • Hold a relevant construction-related degree.
  • Have a full UK driving licence.
  • Bring previous experience in a commercial role for a contractor, particularly in the transportation or construction sectors.
  • Are comfortable using MS Office, with strong Excel skills.
  • Communicate clearly and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team.
