Competitive Salary:
- Unqualified: Base salary of £30,277.23 to £31,208.49 (upon successful completion of probation)
- Qualified: Base salary of £31,867.18 (for those with a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent)
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Specific Hours: 08:00am - 20:00pm (12-hour shifts)
- Location: Greater London (covering Camden, Haringey & Islington)
- Comprehensive Induction: Mandatory training to support your development and progression

Fixed Shift Rota:
- Week 1: Wed, Thur (24 hours)
- Week 2: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun (60 hours)
- Guaranteed Minimum: Average of 168 hours per month
- Waking Night Contracts: Available
- Annual Leave: 236 hours per year, increasing by 12 hours annually for 3 years (up to 272 hours)
- Pension Scheme: Available after qualifying period
- Fully Funded Qualifications: Enrolment onto required qualifications
Your Role:
As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and nurturing environment for our young people. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating a supportive atmosphere that fosters development
- Providing emotional and social support to help young people build positive relationships
- Promoting confidence, self-esteem, and independence
- Maintaining accurate records, including daily updates and safeguarding information
- Assessing individual needs and contributing to care plans
- Collaborating with managers, colleagues, and external professionals
- Supporting daily living needs and assisting with household tasks
What We’re Looking For:
We seek individuals who are:
- Engaging and proactive in their approach to working with young people
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Sensitive, reflective, and empathetic
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experienced in the care sector or residential care
- Committed to obtaining a Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare
- Willing to work some Bank Holidays
