Position Overview
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Salary: £28,000 - £39,520
Contract Term: Permanent
Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm
Your Role and Responsibilities
As an inspirational qualified teacher, you will:
- Teach at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, guiding students in Science, Maths, and the wider curriculum.
- Plan, prepare, and present engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of your students.
- Utilize our positive behaviour policy to foster responsibility and accountability among students.
- Motivate children to embrace learning, develop a love for education, and thrive in their academic journey.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Successful teaching experience, particularly with vulnerable children in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN), focusing on nurturing children with SEMH and ASC needs.
- A solid understanding of the national curriculum, especially in Science and/or Maths.
- Excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- A reflective practice approach and knowledge of therapeutic educational strategies.
- A proven ability to deliver dynamic and engaging lessons.
