What Will You Do?

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people in a safe and welcoming home. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting young people with their daily routines
  • Building positive relationships and becoming a trusted adult
  • Helping them develop confidence, life skills, and independence
  • Ensuring they feel safe, supported, and encouraged every day

Working Pattern

Your work will involve a shift rota, with each shift lasting 24 hours. You will be compensated for sleep-in shifts and typically complete two or three shifts in a row, mixing weekdays and weekends. Overtime opportunities are also available if you're interested!

What Do You Need?

To thrive in this role, you should:

  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Health and Social Care, or be willing to work towards it
  • Be friendly and able to communicate effectively with children and colleagues
  • Be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by us)
