Base Location: Chesham
Covering Area: Aylesbury, Bracknell, Reading, and Woking
Salary: £29,600 per annum (£37,000 FTE)
Hours: 4 days per week, 28 hours

Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting foster parents and ensuring high standards of care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload.
- Conducting regular supervision to monitor practice and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments and decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
We seek a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is:
- Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents.
- Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Skilled in report writing and able to meet strict deadlines.
Essential Qualifications:
- Social Work England-recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
- Previous experience in children and families social work.
- Familiarity with a therapeutic model of childcare.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation in children's services.
- Full driving licence with unrestricted access to your own car.
