At ISP School, nestled in the beautiful Glengorse Estate in Battle, East Sussex, we are on a mission to provide a supportive and inspiring educational environment for children aged 7-18 with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), as well as communication and learning needs.

About the Role

We are seeking an inspirational qualified teacher who is passionate about guiding vulnerable children through their educational journey. If you have experience working with Key Stages 3 and 4, particularly in Science, Maths, and the wider curriculum, we want to hear from you!

Your Responsibilities

• Teach and inspire students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Plan, prepare, and present engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of your class.
• Utilize our positive behaviour policy to foster responsibility and accountability among students.
• Motivate children to embrace learning, develop a love for education, and thrive in their academic pursuits.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Successful teaching experience, particularly with children who have SEMH and ASC needs.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum, especially in Science and/or Maths.
• Excellent behaviour management skills and a reflective approach to teaching.
• A good understanding of therapeutic educational approaches.
• Ability to adapt lessons to meet the unique needs of each child.
• Proven capability to deliver dynamic and engaging lessons.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, permanent position during term time only, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by ISP School.
