Area Camden, an Ofsted-rated Outstanding and Good provider since 2014, is on the lookout for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our established 3-bed children's home in London. Your Role and Responsibilities

As our Registered Manager, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, safe, and nurturing care for children and young people.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
  • Lead and mentor staff, fostering a child-centered approach focused on achieving the best outcomes.
  • Maintain robust safeguarding systems and effective multi-agency collaboration.
  • Drive continuous improvement in line with Area Camden's standards and ethos.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A Leadership and Management qualification (or a willingness to work towards one) and NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People.
  • Strong knowledge of childcare and safeguarding, including relevant legislation.
  • Experience managing staff teams with excellent communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for children's homes and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for young people.

Working Conditions and Benefits

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with a flexible rota that includes on-call duties. Here’s what we offer:

  • Base salary of £52,000, with potential earnings up to £58,600 through bonuses.
  • 32 days of annual leave, increasing by 1 day per year for the first three years.
  • Workplace pension and mobile phone provided.
  • Performance bonuses for Ofsted ratings: £3,000 for Outstanding and £1,500 for Good.
  • Full occupancy bonus of £300 per month.
  • Company car or £3,000 annual travel allowance.
  • Local parking permit and a 3-month notice period (except in disciplinary cases).
