Basic Salary: £21,257.48 - £23,232.69

Location: Foxton, Cambridgeshire

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a One-to-One Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Mentoring and supporting one pupil or a small group of no more than six.
  • Assisting the classroom teacher during lessons and reporting on pupil progress.
  • Supervising pupils during non-classroom time, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
  • Helping with lesson planning and classroom preparation.
  • Building positive relationships with pupils to drive engagement and learning outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A strong educational background, ideally to A-level, with at least GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics.
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting.
  • Confidence in taking on additional responsibilities, such as food hygiene or forest school.
  • A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.
