At Martha H School, located in the heart of Wigan, Lancashire, we are looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our vibrant community. This is a full-time, term-time only position with a competitive salary ranging from £28,000 to £39,520, depending on your experience.

Your Role
As a SEN Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, addressing the complex ASC & SEMH needs of all pupils.
- Support the class team in creating engaging learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
- Monitor and report on pupils' progress, collaborating with other staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
- Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
- Build positive relationships with pupils to drive interaction and enhance learning outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a suitable degree-level qualification.
- Previous successful teaching experience, particularly with SEND pupils.
- Experience in behavior management techniques.
- A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.
