Salary: £50,000 per annum (with potential to earn up to £55,000 through bonuses)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Specific Hours: 40 hours per week

Bay View Childcare, part of the Polaris Community, is seeking a child-focused Registered Manager for our established children's home in Slyne, Lancaster. Here, we care for four children aged 8-18 who face social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

About the Role
As the Registered Manager, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, safe, and nurturing care for children.
- Oversee day-to-day operations and lead staff practice.
- Maintain strong safeguarding arrangements and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide confident leadership, ensuring care is child-centered and responsive to individual needs.
- Support and develop your team through supervision and mentoring.

Requirements for the Role
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A Leadership and Management qualification (or willingness to work towards one) along with NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children.
- Strong childcare and safeguarding knowledge, including relevant legislation and regulations.
- Experience in managing staff teams with excellent communication skills.
- A genuine passion for children's homes and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children.
