At Area Camden, we are on the lookout for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to guide our established 3-bed children's home in London. Your Role and Responsibilities

As our Registered Manager, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, safe, and nurturing care for children and young people.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and lead staff practice.
  • Drive continuous improvement in line with Area Camden's standards and the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
  • Ensure robust safeguarding systems and effective multi-agency working.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, organizing work patterns and delivering care-focused training.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A Leadership and Management qualification (or a willingness to work towards one) and NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People.
  • Strong knowledge of childcare and safeguarding, including relevant legislation.
  • Experience managing staff teams with excellent communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for children's homes and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. You will manage your own rota and participate in the on-call rota. The role comes with a competitive salary starting at £52,000, with the potential to earn up to £58,600 through bonuses.
