Your New Role

As a Carpenter at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, you’ll play a vital role in bringing our spaces to life. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining, modifying, repairing, and renovating both interior and exterior carpentry.
  • Showcasing your versatility across a wide range of maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinating with your manager to ensure every area meets our high standards.
  • Working safely and with pride in everything you do.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks promptly.
  • Monitor Health & Safety compliance, ensuring correct PPE is worn.
  • Maintain site assets and ironmongery for continuous operation and legal compliance.
  • React to emergencies with effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct general maintenance tasks and inspect assets, including areas at height.
  • Assist the Lead Carpenter in meeting business expectations and adhering to UK legislation.
  • Help maintain an up-to-date asset list and ironmongery data sheets.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

Qualifications & Experiences

  • Experience with hand tools and job-specific equipment.
  • Knowledge of site plant equipment, such as MEWPS.
  • Full working knowledge of Health & Safety standards (training provided).
  • Understanding of COSHH regulations.
  • Ability to meet maintenance requirements and use special equipment on site.
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Desirable Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Carpentry.
  • Carpentry Apprenticeship.
  • Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Site Carpentry and Architectural Joinery.
  • Training to use trailers and forklifts.

Working Pattern

You will work a 40-hour week on a rota shift pattern, including evenings and weekends as needed. Flexibility is key, as you may be required to respond to emergencies outside of normal working hours and work on some bank holidays.
