Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Specific Hours: 39 hours per week
Salary: Up to £64,280 (includes Ofsted and Occupancy bonuses)

We are excited to invite a passionate and committed Children's Home Registered Manager to lead our brand new 4-bed home in Doncaster!
Main Purpose of the Job
As the Registered Manager, you will hold the key responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring we deliver exceptional care that respects the rights of each young person. You will lead a dedicated team of care workers, guiding them to achieve positive outcomes in the physical, psychological, emotional, and social development of our residents.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Service and Practice: Develop and deliver high-quality care in line with relevant legislation and organizational policies.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records for both young people and staff, implementing effective monitoring and evaluation systems.
- Team Leadership: Innovate childcare techniques and actively participate in the senior management team.
- Meetings: Prepare for and chair various internal and external meetings.
- On-Call Responsibilities: Participate in on-call duties and cover sleep-in shifts as needed.
- Decision Making: Oversee admissions and discharges, ensuring a smooth process for all involved.
Human Resource Management
- Involve in the recruitment process, ensuring all checks are completed.
- Supervise and appraise staff in line with organizational policies.
- Ensure continuous professional development and mandatory training for the team.
- Manage rotas and monthly expenses efficiently.
- Handle grievances, complaints, and disciplinary matters as necessary.
Management of Physical and Financial Resources
- Monitor the service budget and ensure financial targets are met.
- Ensure the maintenance of the service premises and equipment meets all requirements.
External Affairs
- Promote the organization positively with external agencies and the public.
- Liaise with commissioners regarding admissions.
- Lead psychotherapy leadership and management forums.
Required Attributes
- Enthusiasm for providing the highest quality care and education.
- Experience in managing a team.
- Comprehensive knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures.

- Full Occupancy Bonus: £600 a month
- On Call Payments: £25 on weekdays, £35 on weekends
- 39 hours full-time, with sleep-in duties as per the home’s rota
- Some office days for administrative duties
- Petrol Allowance: Paid when using your own car (proof of business insurance required)
